Block Party Quilters Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of quilting and other needle arts through sharing, education, community service and quilt shows.

JB comes from a family that loves to make things. Her mom loved to knit and sew garments. Hr dad was willing to try anything using metal or wood. JB learned to sew at age 6 making doll clothes and expanded to garments in high school. Sewing, knitting and crafting have always been a part of her life. Long an admirer of things Japanese she loves to create elegant applique patterns in the Asian style. She teaches hand and machine applique, machine free motion quilting, bobbin work techniques and how to use silk in quilts.
Coming in June, Laura Nownes with a program entitled "My Story Through My Quilts".
